This printer is fast and the all-in-one design is a massive improvement. My only minor issue is that every 20-30 labels, the alignment is just a tiny bit off and I have to re-center it. It's a quick fix, but keeps it from being absolutely perfect.
Finally, a thermal printer that doesn't feel like a rocket ship. The FreeX USB SuperRoll slides onto my small shelf, spits out labels at 170 mm/s, and I've printed over 10k without a single hiccup. Amazing resolution—barcodes scan instantly. Works with USPS, FedEx, ShipStation… you name it, it handled it like a champ.
Works well for 4×6 labels, and platform compatibility is solid. The software interface, though, feels clunky and outdated for macOS.

My DYMO 4XL was constantly giving me headaches. This FreeX printer is on another level. The setup was easier, it's faster, and the fact that I can use cheap generic labels is the biggest win. I was hesitant to switch brands, but I'm so glad I did. The print quality is just as good, if not better. It's a huge upgrade.

This thing is a 5-star product once you master it. The default settings might not be perfect out of the box. I'd recommend anyone who buys this to print a few test labels and really play with the speed and darkness settings in the driver properties. Once you dial it in for your specific labels, it's flawless. But don't expect plug-and-play perfection in 10 seconds.
