Printing speed is blistering fast, but every tenth label has a half-second pause. Hardly a deal-breaker, though.
Hit ‘Print’ and the label pops out before you can blink. No jams, no smudges—just smooth sailing.
I moved from a Brother QL-1110NWB and can’t believe the difference. FreeX’s WiFi connection is rock-solid compared to my old printer’s random drops. Its minimal footprint is a breath of fresh air, and printing at 170 mm/s with 203 dpi yields crisp barcodes every time. Never going back.
My old DYMO 4XL was constantly dropping connection or needing to be reset. This FreeX printer is a night-and-day difference. The WiFi is so much more stable—I've had maybe one or two disconnects in months, versus multiple times a day before. It's fast, the labels are cheap since I can buy any brand, and it just works with Pirate Ship without any fuss. Very happy with this purchase.
I don't think I can adequately describe the sheer misery of running my Etsy shop with an inkjet printer. The smudging, the constant ink anxiety, the cost... it was a nightmare. Buying this FreeX printer wasn't just an upgrade; it was a quality-of-life improvement. It prints a perfect label in about two seconds. TWO. SECONDS. I've printed over 500 labels so far and haven't spent a single cent on ink. The printer has already paid for itself. The WiFi setup was straightforward on my Windows PC, and it just... works. Every single time. It's quieter than my old clunker, too.> Comment from Sarah J.: Does this work well with custom-sized labels?> Reply from OP: I've only used the standard 4x6 labels, but the auto-feed seems pretty flexible so it might! I'd check their site.
No more ink, no more fuss. Shipping has never been easier.
I’ve spent more time fixing printers than printing labels—until I got this FreeX. Setup took two minutes, then flawless printing every time.
I love everything about this printer... except the power cord. The brick is big and the cord from the brick to the wall is only like 3 feet long. My power strip is on the floor and my desk is high, so it's barely long enough. Had to rearrange things just for that. A silly complaint, but it's my honest feedback!
Got this yesterday and am already blown away. The 170 mm/s speed isn't a joke. It spits out labels almost instantly. A huge time-saver during peak order season.
It took a bit of fiddling to get the WiFi connected to my router (had to try it a couple of times), but once it locked in, it's been working great. A solid 4-star product.
