"Stable" WiFi is a bit of a stretch...

I was so hopeful for this one. The main selling point for me was the promise of "Superior WiFi Stability" because my last wireless printer was a nightmare. And while the FreeX SuperRoll does print nicely when it's connected, the problem is keeping it connected. At least twice a day, right in the middle of a big batch of labels for my shop, it will just drop off the network for no reason. I have to power cycle it and my router to get it back. It's better than my old one, which dropped every hour, but calling this "superior" feels generous. It works, but it's not the reliable workhorse I needed.

Took zero space on my desk and prints like a champ.

Bulk Printing Made Effortless

My small biz ships 200+ packages weekly, and this FreeX wireless thermal printer handles them without a hiccup. The label roll holder means I don’t have to change rolls mid-shift. Connects to my MacBook instantly via WiFi. Honestly, it feels like it was designed for pros. Love that I can use generic labels and cut costs even more.

Still going strong after a year!

Just wanted to come back and say this printer is a tank. I bought it refurbished over a year ago and it's still printing just as fast and clear as it did on day one. The WiFi connection has remained solid and I've probably printed thousands of labels on it for my Shopify store. Pro tip: use a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the print head every few months if you notice any lines appearing. It keeps the quality perfect. So happy with this purchase. --- EDIT (18 months later): Still here, still working flawlessly. It's quieter than my mini-fridge and has outlasted two keyboards and a mouse. The 150 km lifespan seems legit.

A workhorse for my eBay store

I bought this refurbished FreeX printer about 5 months ago and wanted to give a long-term review. This thing is a workhorse. I run a small eBay business and probably print 30-50 labels a day. The key is the reliability. The internal roll holder is the best feature—no dust on my labels, no alignment issues. The 'refurbished' aspect is a non-issue. It works like new. For anyone wondering about durability, the 150km print head lifespan rating feels totally believable.

Decent but Limited

I expected more given the hype, but here’s the reality: setup was straightforward in five minutes, but then I hit a wall—literally. My iPad can’t AirPrint, so I'm stuck using clunky middleware. The WiFi stability is decent, but it still dropped twice mid-batch, which slowed me down. Quality is fine at 203 dpi, and the 600-label roll capacity is handy. However, I've found cheaper units that include native mobile printing. It's a solid printer, but the missing AirPrint and occasional disconnects mean it scores only 3 stars from me.

Works perfectly, saved a ton. No brainer.

Great Deal, Minor Blemish

Got it at 30% off—the print quality is great, but there’s a tiny scratch on top. Otherwise, a fantastic refurbished deal.

A huge step up from my wireless Brother, but not perfect

I upgraded to the Free X from a Brother QL series wireless printer that drove me nuts with constant disconnects. The WiFi on this is SIGNIFICANTLY more stable – I'd say it's 95% reliable, which is a massive improvement. It just works most of the time. The all-in-one design is also a feat of engineering, it's so compact. My only gripe, and the reason for 4 stars, is that occasionally it will not 'wake up' from sleep and I have to toggle the power. It's a minor annoyance compared to the Brother, but still, a fantastic refurb value.
